Finally, I have managed to photograph and list some of the collars I’ve been making recently. They are in a range of colours, designs and yarns so hopefully there is something to suit everyone (who wants a crochet collar). I am more than happy to make custom orders so if you have a style, colour, yarn not listed just get in touch and I will see what I can do.
Don’t forget that until the end of January all items in my etsy shop are 20% off with the discount code JAN2013.
Here’s a sneak preview but visit the shop for the full range.
After a very sad family time I was perked up by making my first Etsy sale! I didn’t expect this moment to be quite as exciting as it was but I was over the moon to think that somebody would pay money for something I made! I was beginning to get a bit downheartened that nothing was selling but this has re-energised me and I can’t wait for the next sale. I have a feeling this crafting thing is addictive! It should come with a warning!
I’ve finally gotten around to updating my shop and have just uploaded some sweet button jewellery. Don’t forget that until Tuesday you can get 15% off EVERYTHING with the code TALKT15. I’ve still to upload the cushions and some more collars from my stall but please keep your eyes peeled and I’ll update you when everything is on there. Apologies for everything coming in drips and drabs, I’m much better at making things than I am at photographing and listing them!
So, for Take a Look Tuesday this week I decided to have a wee pre Christmas sale and for one week only, everything in my shop on Etsy will have 15% discount with code TALKT15. Don’t forget that as all of my items have free UK & Ireland postage this means there are some real bargains to be had!
I’ve also got some lovely items left over from the market at the weekend to add tonight.
So today was the big day! I made the early morning trip from Glasgow to Edinburgh in torrential rain, to get to The Voodoo Rooms and get my stall set up. I was nervous and excited for my first market! I was all set up and waiting for the crowds to arrive, and waited a little more. Unfortunately, my first market was lacking in footfall which was a shame as there were some lovely stalls.
It wasn’t a waste for me to attend as I now have a good idea of what to expect at a market and how to prepare. Roll on the next attempt!
Anyway, here are some pictures of my stall.
Here’s a quick sneak peek at some of the things I’ve been making for my first stall at a craft fair. I’ve made lots of collars but I thought that I should also make some lower priced items to add variation and choice for buyers so I decided to make some jewellery.
First up, sticking with the crochet I made some crochet rose rings and brooches.
I also have a hefty supply of fabric and some of it has been sitting in my stash for ages, too big to throw away and too small to really make anything with. However, they are ideal for these button ear rings and rings.
After the market I will list anything that hasn’t sold onto my Etsy Shop.
